Julian Barnes - The Sense of an Ending

Julian Barnes' The Sense of an Ending made me sad: story of infidelity, fickle loyalty, and dysfunction, but so beautifully written, produced (wait till you see the uncut edges and feel the paper quality of the edition pictured above), and short that perhaps you should pick it up.
