Wandering around Spitalfield's Market on Sunday, I caught sight of Laura Jordan's illustrated watercolors. Charming.
I've heard that watercolor is the only technique not taught in mental institutions for art therapy because it is too frustrating as the colors become muddy the more you work with them. Ms. Jordan does not have that problem.
Her shop @DelicateMayhem.com only carries fairy land prints (but the price point is perfect for gifts). I'm attaching images of her other work of London and New York cityscapes.
