I read a blog by a friend of a friend. She has the funniest and sweetest observations on her rambunctious family (three children under four), but today was an all time favorite post. Her children are making a Thankfulness Tree. Every day they add another leaf to the tree for something they are thankful for. If I had children or if my Godchildren were old enough, we would definitely do something like this. Love a good craft and love taking a moment to be thankful.
I'm thankful for my family, my friends, my grandmother, my cousins. And then there's 16 oz frosted flex cups, beautiful design, Converse, changing leaves, air travel, estate sales, Mrs. Meyer's delicious smelling laundry detergent, the New Yorker and Black Berry Messenger. I am thankful for volunteering and that I have two legs to walk around on. (I can only wish I were inspired to run more.)
Ok, I am going to have to make this a regular post till Thanksgiving because there's a lot more for this list.
