I take no credit for this lovely spring arrangement of peonies and hydrangeas but do take great pride. The girl who did the flowers has three children under five and yet threw a going-away dinner party for me and did the flowers herself. Extraordinary.
Spring has sprung, but it was snowing outside. Each mint julep cup holds a different type of flower. My favorite were the baby purple hyacinth. I must have good taste because they were also the most expensive.
My expanse of "lawn" -- I guess this is what happens when you live in the concrete jungle.
Arrangement for an Easter buffet, but the lawn lasted for weeks with the occasional trim (a Chia pet for adults).
