Frances Palmer Pottery

We live in a world that celebrates perfection, straight lines, white socks and clean counter tops. It's too much.

Cut the pursuit of perfection with Frances Palmer's deliberately misaligned and therefore that-much-more-charming porcelain pottery. I've long admired her work and have heard that many of her pieces are inspired by her garden in Weston, Connecticut. Sigh, now doesn't that sound perfect?

Her handmade work is High Art and her Pearl Collection is Attainable so check out whichever fits your fancy and suits your wallet. She's expanded into terracotta for the garden and pressed pieces that are oven, freezer, dishwasher and microwave safe.

To quote Min Hogg: "Why does everything have to be so perfect? Nothing in real life is, you know." (thank you, AL).
